What is the EbbFlow Signature "FUSION" Massage?

This is a custom massage: no two massages are exactly the same. EbbFlow signature is a fusion massage that seamlessly blends together various massage techniques such as Swedish, therapeutic, myofascial, facial massage/acupressure, and foot reflexology. With The Signature Massage, you will receive the best of both worlds; the pressure used rests at a happy medium between a Swedish and deep tissue massage. Focused massage work targets knots, aching and tight muscles at a pressure that the client can tolerate. Long gliding Swedish strokes are used to promote and enhance the relaxation process, and soothe the skin afterward. This massage, like all of Ebb & Flow's services, is conducted with all natural products to promote health and the healing process. Consists of 45 minute 'fusion' massage focusing on muscular issues, such as lower back pain and tension, sciatica, stiff neck and shoulders etc; includes scalp and facial massage incorporating working 20 facial acupressure points, lymphatic drainage and finishing off the session with 15 minutes of foot reflexology promoting relaxation and calming body systems. May include use of hot/cold stones, hot/cold fusion bamboo sticks.

Swedish massage is a whole-body massage treatment that works the soft tissues and muscles to help restore health - creating a calming and balancing effect on the nervous system. We may use a combination of the five main types of massage techniques in our Swedish massage: stroking and gliding; kneading; rubbing; tapping or pounding; and/or vibration.
The various Swedish massage techniques, created by the Father of Swedish Massage, Per Henrik Ling, are designed to improve your circulation, soothe your muscles and make you feel more relaxed.

Each therapeutic massage is tailored to your specific needs and areas of issue. This therapeutic type of massage involves more focused work on your body’s soft tissue — the muscles, tendons and ligaments that move and support your body. The massage work in a therapeutic massage may feel deeper than a relaxation massage. You also may experience more tenderness as the therapist works through the tissue. We may use various techniques during your treatment session - may incorporate swedish myofascial, trigger point work, various movement or passive/active stretching.

VacuTherapy Cupping/Lymphatic/Sinus Aid Facial Massage Treatment - Massage cupping helps to pull and release inflammation and toxins from the body tissues so that the skin and lymphatic system can readily eliminate them.  One of the most amazing aspects of this technique is the separation that the vacuum produces in tissue layers.  This enables water absorption and renewed blood flow to undernourished and dehydrated tissue, which is invaluable in pre-and post surgery treatments. Massage Cupping techniques sedate the nervous system, move stagnant lymph and blood, hydrate and nourish tissue, shift tissue PH, and can be used on acute and chronic conditions for all ages.  Massage cupping or VacuTherapy-cupping draws the inflammation out from deep in the tissues to be released.  The increased local blood supply to the muscles and skin will bring nourishment and allow for toxins to be carried away via the lymphatic system. Conditions of chronic and acute pain can be relieved with minimal discomfort and tense muscles softened quickly and easily.

Cupping Therapy Sessions are a combination of traditional massage and cupping therapy. The suction provided by cupping can break up stagnation in the body, soften muscle tissue, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system. The skin can turn red with strong movements, indicating that circulation has been brought to the surface.

Lymphatic Drainage Aid Therapy works to help recirculate body fluids, stimulate functioning of the immune system, and balance the autonomic nervous system. Lymphatic drainage therapy is a type of massage therapy that may help to relieve swelling that occurs when medical treatment or poor health causes blockages to the lymphatic system. This is the part of the body that protects us from infection and disease. Certain health conditions - including obesity, inflammation, infection and cancer - can cause lymph fluids to build up, a condition known as lymphedema. Add-On the PEMF healing mat to be used throughout your session.

Aromatherapy Massage combines two therapeutic practices, massage and essential oils, to create impactful results. Aromatherapy massage incorporates the use of these essential oils into a massage. The massage may involve alternating between gentle and more intense pressure, depending on the treatment plan you and your therapist discussed before your massage. The addition of a specific essential oil or a blend of essential oils offers healing and stress relief by stimulating the lymphatic, circulatory, nervous, and musculoskeletal systems. 

Aroma-Sole Therapy (reflexology and aromatherapy) combining essential oils and foot reflexes for good health and well being, In combining the healing powers of essential oils and the massaging of reflex points in the feet, it is possible to positively dynamically balance the energy systems in the body to bring about deep relaxation and reduction in stress thereby providing an environment of healing for the whole physical and emotional body. 

Reiki Session - energy healing with chakra stones and/or synergy blended essential oils may be used to aid in balancing your Chakras. 10-minute meditation. Enhance your session with the use of PEMF Infrared Crystal Infused Full Body Therapy Mat and upgrade to The Trifecta (Reiki, Reflexology and Aromatherapy).

Rest & Relax - So many of you asked for it! This is your mini-nap/relax/rest session after your scheduled service.  You will have 15 minutes of quiet time, or if you want self meditation. I'll knock after 15 minutes to wake you.

PAMPERED PEDS (includes lower leg). FOUR step treatment.

We start with a cleansing Sea Salt Foot Soak, followed by a gentle purifying exfoliating sugar scrub treatment. Up to now is good, but we then move onto the nourishing mud masque application – hot towels used throughout the session. The mini reflexology (34 points of the feet  worked) elevates this to GREAT. To finish, massage butter is generously applied to lower legs and feet to hydrate and condition those hard working feet!

Back Detox "Bacial" Treatment  + scalp, back massage: begins with a cleanse to prep, followed by a purifying exfoliating back scrub to remove dead skin cells, leaving the skin cleansed, refreshed and brighter. Next is the nourishing mud masque, (hot towels are used throughout). A soothing back massage using a natural and organic massage creme with essential oils to relive pain in muscles and joints as well as soothing and calming the mind. The treatment includes a relaxing scalp massage, relieving emotional stress and tension.

EcoFin Treatment - stand alone or add on. Heated mittens and booties combined with signature EcoFfn butters and oils to nourish, soften and hydrate. Particularly beneficial after an Aroma-Sole session!

Note: For your individualized Aromatherapy needs, there will be an initial consultation which incurs a $75.00 fee. Any blend, oil, lotion, inhaler, and/or cream that is prepared will be charged at an additional cost.  This will be discussed with you at the time of your consultation.
